Solana 的TVL 在去年市场欣欣向荣之际，一度突破百亿美元。然而，经调查后发现，很大比例的TVL 为重复计算，且集中在少数协议中。这一切皆出自Macalinao 兄弟俩之手，透过多个匿名身份打造了11 个不同协议，建立了以去中心化交易所Saber 为基础的庞大连锁DeFi 协议网路。在经历骇客事件后，近期宣布进军新兴公链专案Aptos，正引起议论
Solana 虚假TVL 的开端
在去年夏天Solana TVL 持续上涨之初，收益聚合器Sunny在短时间内获得许多DeFi 用户的关注。不仅在推出的两周内吸引了数十亿的资金流入，代币也在此期间成长了5 倍
不过经CoinDesk 的调查，此协议的开发者Surya Khosla (化名)，与Solana 上的稳定币交易所Saber的共同创办人Ian Macalinao 为同一人，而Sunny 协议的整体功能正是以Saber 的代币SBR 为基础
CoinDesk 表示Ian Macalinao 建立了庞大的连锁DeFi 协议网路，将数十亿美元重复计算价值投射到Saber 生态系中，并暂时放大了Solana 上TVL。这在去年Solana TVL 持续上涨的过程中，对DeFi 用户造成了误导
然而，Ian Macalinao 做到的事情不仅只有这样，透过与其兄弟Dylan Macalinao 的合作，并伪装成11 个不同的独立开发者，两人总共打造了11 个相互具有关联的DeFi 协议
为何要这么做？
Ian Macalinao 表示其鄙视TVL 这种「虚荣指标」，不过以太坊上更高的TVL 令其感到困扰，因为在其眼里，以太坊上TVL 因重复计算造成的虚假数据更为严重
而在公开场合中，两人称他们创建的身份为他们的朋友或是朋友的朋友，这些看似多人的开发者们成立了「Ship Capital」，共同打造兄弟档心中理想的DeFi 生态系，而所有协议皆与Saber 及其LP 代币相互牵连
两人最终目标能使Solana 上的其他协议也能开始对Saber 有所依赖，进而导致「大到不能倒」的局面
制造假象的匿名团队
如前面所提到的，Ian Macalinao 化名为Surya Khosla 并打造了Sunny 协议，不过这种开发人员匿名且未经过审计的协议不禁会使用户存疑，担心使用时会有资产遗失的风险
为了取得信任，同为Saber 创办人的Dylan Macalinao 自导自演。当用户对Sunny 产生质疑时，其声称与开发团队聊过，也审计过合约代码，对质押代币于Sunny 上感到自在。
殊不知，此行为只不过是自己人在帮自己背书
在兄弟俩的配合下此种情形频频发生，当一个新的协议推出时或进行整合时，便会使用创建的多个匿名帐号相互赞赏，以塑造出良好的形象
理想、批判与骇客事件
据CoinDesk 取得的说法，Ian Macalinao 表示自已只想追求理想，并希望不去理会批判
Ian Macalinao 早在2017 年底就在公链专案EOS 首次贡献加密货币代码，到了2021 年上半，他也曾经在算法稳定币Basis.Cash 的Discord 中谈论代币经济，算法稳定币也是他投入开发的初衷
然而，今年三月Cashio 遭遇了骇客事件，骇客操弄了Cashio 的智能合约大量铸造20 亿个CASH，损失5,200 万，导致它的价格近乎归零，这对于Ship Capital 来说是严重打击。据CoinDesk 取得的说法，Ian Macalinao 曾表示要用个人所有的Saber 与Sunny 代币，尽可能地赔偿受害用户，但他的诺言始终没有实现
