V神不认为以太坊社区应该采取行动支持或捍卫XRP
以太坊创始人Vitalik Buterin今天在一条推文中表示，以太坊的支持者没有义务站出来支持或捍卫XRP，他回忆起Ripple在2020年12月与SEC的法律斗争中提交的文件，该公司将以太坊命名为中国控制。
V神的声明发布之际，加拿大新的加密法规曝光，将某些地区的加密公民在一年内可以购买的价值限制在30000美元。值得注意的是，这项新指令将比特币，以太坊，比特币现金和莱特币排除在上述限制之外，但将Solana命名为受限制的加密货币。
在回应Trustless创始人David Hoffman对新规则的抗议时，V神赞扬了这位著名的以太坊支持者，即使这个问题对以太坊没有风险，他也支持他所谓的其他合法加密货币。“很高兴看到以太坊人反对将ETH特权于其他合法加密货币的法规。”
然而，霍夫曼反过来表示，如果所讨论的受限加密货币是XRP，他就不会说什么，V神似乎赞同他现在有争议的声明。
XRP 社区对此做出回应
值得注意的是，V神的声明得到了几位有影响力的Ripple和XRP社区成员的回应。例如，Ripple首席技术官David Schwartz断言，以太坊已经养成了支持政府对其他项目采取行动的习惯，只是因为这些项目不同意他们的说法。此外，他指出，Ripple当时论点的基础是，大多数比特币和以太坊矿工都居住在中国，并且受中国政策控制，进一步将矿工与公司股东进行比较。
另一方面，Ripple律师Jeremy Hogan引用了V神的推文，将以太坊创始人的声明与黑手党Don的声明进行了比较，突出了V神对保护一词的使用。
与此同时，在Ripple与美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的案件中代表XRP持有者的律师John Deaton指出，V神的声明对XRP持有者不敏感。根据Deaton的说法，几位与Ripple无关的XRP持有者并不了解该公司，但由“SEC的过度扩张”而失去了他们的储蓄。
Ripple与SEC的法律斗争
自2020年12月以来，Ripple一直与美国证券交易委员会陷入法律纠纷，因为美国证券交易委员会指责瑞波币通过出售未注册证券XRP筹集资金。
值得注意的是，该公司在该案中取得了重大胜利，许多人预计Ripple将获胜。此外，虽然它得到了加密社区的大力支持，但该公司和以太坊社区之间关系视乎没有缓和。
