普华永道会计师事务所指出，全球博彩业力量均势的根本性变化，意味着亚洲将在明年取代美国，成为世界上博彩收入最高的地区性市场。澳门每年单凭博彩收入就轻鬆进账335亿（美元，下同），是拉斯维加斯的5倍多。当前亚洲各地积极开赌，菲律宾ZF正计划打造如金光大道般的“马尼拉大道”，现已有三家DC酒店在规划中，本澳未来面对不少竞争对手。+ Y! o& g! |* q" T) M

据《华尔街日报》报道，菲律宾商人拉松说，菲律宾将成为全球下一个能与澳门和美国的拉斯维加斯相竞争的赌城。- o8 ~: o. Q2 ~' ~
他计划斥资12亿（其中2亿是他自掏腰包）修建自己的DC酒店。他旗下的公司Bloomberry Resorts Corp.打算于明年初开放高端综合酒店Solaire Manila。预计酒店一期将设300张赌檯，并设多个高级餐厅、会议室及贵宾别墅。+ L# x( m2 o8 S, u0 O( r1 J0 B
主要策略是切实鼓励海外赌客到菲律宾。拉松的父亲曾与澳门赌王何鸿燊在菲律宾独裁者马科斯(Ferdinand Marcos)统治期间一起在马尼拉湾开过一家水上DC。拉松看重的是菲律宾的低税率，认为有助吸引天朝和韩国等国家的赌客。
g5 \ [/ _0 @不过，拉松和他的竞争对手必须要克服菲律宾的贫穷、自然灾害、绑架和恐怖主义等不利因素。一○年马尼拉一被解僱的JC劫持旅巴乘客，八名港客遇难，不少人仍记忆犹新。( n5 r# l0 h0 I5 g' B6 _
亚洲开发商则力挺在马尼拉新建的DC酒店，菲律宾ZF希望打造“马尼拉大道”的地方，有三个项目正在拟定当中。这三个DC中，一个正在施工，由菲律宾房地产开发商Belle Corp.所建；一个将由马来西亚云顶集团和菲律宾企业集团Alliance Global Group Inc.联手打造；另一个则是日本博彩业巨头冈田合生计划修建的。

CIMB分析师说，菲律宾的Dubo市场仍处在发展的早期阶段，但如果马尼拉DC的经营者愿意向介绍天朝富人到DC的中介人支付更高的佣金，且提供比澳门和新加坡等地区的竞争者更好的服务，应有能力在该地区竞争，吸引更多赌客。 |
