「Ethscriptions」其实早在2016年就被建立，而为了致敬比特币的「Ordinals」协议，音乐网站Genius.com的
& }1 f+ q+ j* A5 @共同创办人Tom Lehman为其开发成现在的搜索引擎、网站，并于6月17日将「Ethscriptions」正式推出。9 h: M, S( M" j9 x; V
根据Lehman的说法，Ethscriptions资产利用以太坊的「calldata」，即智能合约内部的数据，能够比基于纯智能

目前，用户只能创建图片形式的铭文，但Lehman表示该协议将来允许上传不同类型的文件，只要图像大小不超过; F% `: R* `& W# V" k8 b

创建的Ethscription将会在网站上显示出来，前提是没有其他人使用相同的数据创建了这个Ethscription。
